Doodhpathri

Doodhpathri is a hill station and tourist attraction in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the Jammu and Kashmir district of Budgam. It is an alpine valley with snow-capped mountains and pine-fir and deodar meadows. During the spring and summer, the natural meadows, which are covered in snow in the winter, allow the growth of wildflowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots, and buttercups. The lush green grass that covers the vast meadows and the silver-shining streams that pass over the massive stones add to its splendor. Up until Chang, Doodhpathri is a rolling grassy terrain with a variety of colorful flowers. To the west of Doodpathri is the well-known town of Tosamaidan. The location still needs to have year-round road access, and getting here during the busy winter months can be problematic. During the remainder of the year, though, a trip to Doodhpathri may be completed in less than half a day. What you see is nature in its most natural state. There are only a few houses among the local shepherds, and that is the only trace of civilization.

The region is relatively undiscovered and sees few visitors. JKTDC has also constructed a resort for travelers who like to stay overnight. The snow-capped mountains and the frozen lake make it a perfect place for skiing and other winter activities. In summer, the valley is filled with lush green grass and wildflowers. The place is always alive with the sounds of chirping birds, and the view of the majestic Himalayas is breathtaking. The mild climate and the peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal spot for camping and trekking.
